6LY2A-UTP
Yanmar 6LY2A-UTP: 370 hp (272 kW) at 3300 rpm, 5.813-litre turbocharged, intercooled six-cylinder marine diesel, the lower 6LY2A pleasure rating.
The 6LY2A is the mechanically injected (in-line pump) 5.813-litre (106 x 110 mm) six-cylinder in Yanmar's LY family, with turbocharger and intercooler. Yanmar pairs it with Kanzaki KMH60A or ZF280-1/280-1A gears; an earlier datasheet shows a KM2P-1 gear.
The UTP is a lower-output version of the 6LY2A-STP at 370 mhp. It appears in Yanmar Europe's leisure range from about 2015, in the period when the 6LY3-UTP (380 mhp) and the 5.2-litre 6LYA-STP (370 mhp) were leaving it. Yanmar still lists it as a current powerboat engine.
