6LY-UTE

Yanmar 6LY-UTE: 315 hp (232 kW) at 3300 rpm, 5.184-litre turbocharged, intercooled six-cylinder marine diesel from the first 6LY generation of the early 1990s.
The 6LY was Yanmar's 5.184-litre (100 x 110 mm) six-cylinder pleasure-craft diesel of the early-to-mid 1990s, in two ratings: the 315 hp 6LY-UTE and the 350 hp 6LY-STE. The -M versions (6LYM-UTE, 6LYM-STE) were supplied without a marine gear, and an operation manual also covers a 6LYM-UTEHD variant.
Around 1997 it was replaced by the 6LYA-UTE and 6LYA-STE at the same outputs.
