Yanmar Marine engine
4JH4-TE
In production 2007–present
JH4-generation Yanmar diesel: turbocharged 1.995 L inline four rated 75 hp at 3200 rpm, for larger sailboats and small motorboats.
The 4JH4-TE and 4JH4-HTE are the turbocharged members of the JH4 series, built on the 84 x 90 mm, 1.995 L block with a Bosch VE distributor pump and rated at 3200 rpm. They stayed in Yanmar's range beside the naturally aspirated JH5 models and, in Europe, beside the common-rail 4JH80/4JH110 that share their bore, stroke and ratings.
The 4JH4-TE replaced the 4JH3-TE. Gear options were ZF30M, KM4A2, KMH4A and ZF25A, plus a saildrive version (4JH4-TCE) with the SD50-4T, later the SD60.
Its common-rail counterpart is the 4JH80.
