6CX-530

In production 2009–present

Yanmar 6CX-530: 530 hp (390 kW) at 2900 rpm, 7.413-litre common-rail six-cylinder marine diesel, launched in 2009 as the electronic successor to the 6CX-GTE2.

The 6CX-530 (also written 6CX530) is Yanmar's electronically controlled, common-rail version of the 7.413-litre (110 x 130 mm) CX six-cylinder, rated 390 kW (530 mhp) at 2900 rpm. Yanmar announced it in early 2009 as the lightest engine in its power class, with the same installation dimensions as its predecessor. Yanmar Europe listed it with a Yanmar KMH70A marine gear.

Yanmar Europe had it among its leisure engines in 2014. It later appears under Yanmar Marine's light-duty commercial/SOLAS engines (2018) and is not in yanmar.com's engine range from 2020.
