Yanmar Marine engine

6CX-GTE

In production 1999–2005

Yanmar 6CX-GTE: 465 hp (342 kW) at 2850 rpm, 7.413-litre turbocharged, intercooled six-cylinder marine diesel.

The 6CX-GTE lengthened the 6CX stroke to 130 mm (110 x 130 mm, 7.413 litres) and raised output to 342 kW (465 hp). Yanmar's April 2001 catalogue lists it as the gearless 6CXM-GTE; its US leaflet calls it 6CX-GTE and puts two engines at 930 hp for twin installations. The dry weight is 825 kg.

It was sold beside the 500 hp 6CX-GTE2, which outlasted it in Yanmar's catalogue.
