Yanmar Marine engine
4JH2-UTE
In production 1991–1999
JH2-generation Yanmar diesel: top-rated turbocharged and intercooled 1.817 L inline four, 100 hp at 3600 rpm.
The JH2 series (c. 1989-1999) uprated the JH family with a larger 82 mm bore (82 x 86 mm): 1.817 L for the four-cylinder 4JH2 and 1.363 L for the three-cylinder 3JH2. It was replaced by the JH3 series in 1999.
The 4JH2-UTE was added to the family around 1991 as its highest rating, sharing the DTE's intercooled layout and KBW21/KM4A gear options; it was popular in small motor cruisers as well as larger sailboats.
