Yanmar Marine engine
3JH2E
In production 1992–1999
JH2-generation Yanmar diesel: naturally aspirated 1.363 L inline three, 38 hp at 3600 rpm, a common sailboat auxiliary of the 1990s.
The JH2 series (c. 1989-1999) uprated the JH family with a larger 82 mm bore (82 x 86 mm): 1.817 L for the four-cylinder 4JH2 and 1.363 L for the three-cylinder 3JH2. It was replaced by the JH3 series in 1999.
The 3JH2E is the three-cylinder naturally aspirated model. Dealer data lists it with the KBW10E parallel multi-disc gear as standard, KM3A 7-degree down-angle gear as the 'B' package (3JH2BE) and SD31 saildrive as the 'C' package (3JH2CE).
It was succeeded by the 3JH3E.
