Yanmar Marine engine
2QM20F
The Yanmar 2QM20F is the freshwater-cooled pleasure-boat version of the 2QM20: a 1.094-litre two-cylinder marine diesel rated 22 hp at 2800 rpm, with a KBW10A helical reverse gear.
The QM series (2QM15, 2QM20, 3QM30) are Yanmar's low-revving small marine diesels from before the GM series, with an 88 x 90 mm cylinder on the 2QM20 and 3QM30, swirl pre-combustion chamber, and electric and/or manual starting. The 2QM20F adds freshwater cooling and pairs the engine with the KBW10A helical-gear reverse gear with multi-disc clutch (2.14 or 2.83:1); output is unchanged from the seawater-cooled 2QM20.
