JH2-generation Yanmar diesel: turbocharged and intercooled 1.817 L inline four rated 88 hp at 3600 rpm.
The JH2 series (c. 1989-1999) uprated the JH family with a larger 82 mm bore (82 x 86 mm): 1.817 L for the four-cylinder 4JH2 and 1.363 L for the three-cylinder 3JH2. It was replaced by the JH3 series in 1999.
The 4JH2-DTE is a higher-output intercooled rating (corrugated-fin air cooler, IHI RHB52HW turbocharger) paired with KBW21 or KM4A gears.
