4JH80
Common-rail Yanmar JH-CR diesel: turbocharged and intercooled 1.995 L inline four rated 80 mhp at 3200 rpm.
The JH-CR series is Yanmar's electronically controlled common-rail JH generation, launched in 2014 with the 4JH45, 4JH57, 4JH80 and 4JH110 and joined by the three-cylinder 3JH40 in 2018. It is based on Yanmar's TNV industrial block with a Bosch common-rail system and ECU, keeps roughly the footprint of the mechanical JH engines for repowers, works with mechanical controls as standard or the VC10/VC20 electronic vessel-control system, and complies with EPA Tier 3 and RCD 2. Yanmar certifies it for recreational and light-duty commercial use.
The 4JH80 uses the 84 x 90 mm, 1.995 L turbocharged block with an air cooler and is the common-rail counterpart of the mechanical 4JH4-TE. Gear options are ZF30M, ZF25, ZF25A, KM4A2, KMH4A and KMH50V, or the SD60-4 saildrive; it is also offered for jet drive.
