Sunseeker 116 Yacht

The 116 Yacht is a 35.20 m raised-pilothouse motor yacht built by Sunseeker International in Poole, England, with a beam of 7.33 m, a draft of 2.44 m and a light/half-load displacement of 140,000 kg on a GRP hull, grossing 220 GT. Sunseeker's own archived model page describes it as built on the platform of its "hugely popular predecessor, the 115 Sport Yacht," making it the direct successor to that model at the entry point of the Superyacht range.

The standard layout has five en-suite cabins and a day head, for up to twelve guests and five crew, with a full-beam main-deck master cabin, a dedicated main-deck bar, and separate crew quarters. Motor Boat & Yachting's tour of an early hull, named Spectre, highlighted the main-deck master suite spanning the full 24-foot beam and a dining area seating up to ten; Sunseeker's own brochure adds a tender garage and an optional hot tub, and every cabin configuration could be individually tailored under the yard's bespoke programme.

Sunseeker's own specification page lists a single engine option for the 116 Yacht: twin shaft-driven MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels rated at 2,640 PS (about 2,600 hp) a side, for roughly 5,200 hp combined, giving a top speed of up to 26 knots and a range of about 1,500 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruise, with two 55 kW generators.

The 116 Yacht launched for the 2016 model year and was built until 2024, with 19 hulls completed according to YachtBuyer's model database, which lists the 120 Yacht as its successor. Motor Boat & Yachting and Power & Motoryacht both featured tours of individual hulls, praising the scale of the master suite and the flybridge's floor-to-ceiling glazing.
