Delta 60 Open

In production Unknown Designed by Lars Modin

The Delta 60 Open is an 18.22 m carbon-fibre open sport yacht on the same platform as the 54 IPS. It has a 4.60 m beam, a 1.40 m draft, a 12,800 kg dry weight and three cabins sleeping six with two heads. It is CE category B, offered with twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS 800 pods (1600 hp) or triple Mercury V12-600 outboards for 1800 hp combined.

The 60 Open is the open-deck member of Delta's large carbon platform, sharing the 54 IPS's 18-metre vacuum-infused carbon hull, tankage and accommodation but trading the enclosed coupe superstructure for an open sport-yacht deck. The whole structure is vacuum-infused carbon over a foam core.

Unlike the pod-only 54 IPS, the 60 Open is offered with either twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS 800 pods for 1600 hp or triple Mercury Verado V12-600 outboards for the 1800 hp maximum, hence both propulsion types. Accommodation is three cabins sleeping six - an owner's cabin forward and two amidships guest cabins - with two heads, on 2900 litres of fuel and 700 of water. Top speed is around 38 knots.
