Sunseeker Manhattan 70

The Manhattan 70 had a 22.31 m GRP hull and superstructure with a 5.67 m beam and a full-load draft of 1.7 m. Half-load displacement was 41,200 kg, with 4,954 litres of fuel and 1,200 litres of fresh water aboard, on a planing hull built for both owner-operation and entertaining.

Accommodation ran to four cabins for up to eight guests -- two doubles, a bunk-bed cabin and a convertible cabin -- with four guest heads and a separate crew cabin with its own head for up to two crew. The flybridge carried multiple distinct seating areas along a teak-lined deck, including an aft sunlounge tucked under the radar arch; a contemporary review judged the open flybridge to offer limited sun protection and preferred an optional hardtop to the standard bimini.

Sunseeker paired the Manhattan 70 with twin MAN V12 diesel inboards on shaft drives. Owners' listings most commonly show 1,360 hp per engine, with at least one example fitted with a larger 1,550 hp option; no manufacturer spec sheet with a definitive engine line-up was found, so no engine_options are recorded here. Reported performance on the 1,360 hp engines was a 30-knot top speed and 22-knot cruise; a separate test recorded speeds edging over 35 knots and roughly 330 nautical miles of range at an 18-knot cruise, values that most likely reflect the larger engine option.

Sunseeker built the Manhattan 70 from 2007 to 2010, positioning it above the smaller Manhattan models as the range's largest flybridge yacht at the time. It was discontinued after 2010 as Sunseeker reworked the Manhattan line-up; the name was later reused for an unrelated, larger 22.28 m Manhattan 70 sold from around 2010 in some listings, and used first-generation boats remain available through brokers.
