Sunseeker Ocean 182

In production 2023–present

The Sunseeker Ocean 182 is a 27.10 m GRP motor yacht built by Sunseeker International in Poole, England, launched in 2023 as an enclosed-flybridge, tri-deck derivative of the 90 Ocean's hull. It sleeps up to ten guests in four or five cabins and remains in production, now sold as the 90 Ocean Enclosed.

The Ocean 182 shares its 27.10 m GRP hull and 7.16 m beam with the open-flybridge 90 Ocean, on a 1.94 m full-load draft. Half-load displacement is 82,300 kg, with 13,000 litres of fuel and 1,500 litres of fresh water and 800 litres of black water capacity. Where the 90 Ocean has an open flybridge, the 182 encloses the top deck into a purpose-styled tri-deck superstructure, moving the helm to a single station on the flybridge and freeing the main deck for an open-plan saloon; Brokerage and trade-press descriptions of this variant credit its interior to the Italian studio Design Unlimited, the same firm named for the smaller Ocean 156's interior, though no manufacturer page for this exact model was found stating it directly.

Standard accommodation is four cabins for eight guests, with an optional five-cabin, ten-guest layout, plus separate crew quarters for up to four; ensuite/day head count matches the cabin count. A contemporary review contrasted the 182's approach -- "adding a roof to a top deck that was originally designed as an open flybridge" -- with the smaller Ocean 156/82 Ocean Enclosed's purpose-built tri-deck, judging the 156 the more resolved of the two designs while crediting the 182 with greater range and interior volume.

Engines are the same twin MAN V12 shaft-drive options as the 90 Ocean: V12-1650, V12-1900 and V12-2000, the last rated at 2,000 PS per engine for a maximum of 4,000 PS. Sunseeker quotes a 27-knot top speed and roughly 1,100 nautical miles of range at 12 knots.

Sunseeker revealed the Ocean 182 alongside the smaller Ocean 156 in 2023, presenting further details at the Cannes Yachting Festival; it won Best Layout in the 80'-98' category at the World Yacht Trophies 2023. The model has since continued in Sunseeker's range under a length-based name, the 90 Ocean Enclosed, with unchanged hull dimensions; this entry keeps the sync's original 'Ocean 182' name.
