Princess S72

The S72 name has been used twice. The first S72 was built from 2014 to 2017. It was a sportbridge yacht of 22.55m overall with a 5.38m beam and 4,800 litres of fuel. It had three guest cabins plus a crew cabin, and Princess offered twin MAN V12-1650s, Caterpillar C32 As or MAN V12-1800s, quoting up to 38-40 knots. The current S72 was launched at boot Düsseldorf in 2023. YachtBuyer notes that it is based on the Y72 flybridge but shares only the hull and accommodation layout. The hull is a resin-infused deep V.

The cockpit bar connects to the galley through a glass partition that folds away for serving. The saloon has a U-shaped sofa and a dining area opposite the galley, and the sportbridge has U-shaped seating. Below deck, eight guests sleep in four en-suite cabins. The full-beam owner's stateroom amidships is reached by its own staircase. A twin cabin aft is for crew or occasional guests.

Motor Boat & Yachting lists twin MAN V12-1650s or V12-1800s on shafts. The yard's current page lists only the V12-1800, with 36-38 knots quoted. Fuel capacity is 4,500 litres, and an optional extended-range tank adds 900 litres. The S72 won the Best Sportscruiser over 45ft category at the 2025 Motor Boat Awards.
