Princess V52

In production 2010–2016 Designed by Princess Yachts with Bernard Olesinski (naval architecture)

The Princess V52 is a 16.6 m shaft-drive sports cruiser built in Plymouth from 2010 to 2016, with about 120 built. It has a full-beam owner's cabin, a forward guest cabin with scissor berths and an optional third cabin, and Motor Boat & Yachting has called it 'the perfect UK boat'.

The V52 was launched at the 2010 Southampton Boat Show and built until 2016, about 120 in all, according to Motor Boat & Yachting. Princess developed it with naval architect Bernard Olesinski. A 2013 facelift replaced the earlier vertical glazed windows with bonded hull glass.

The main deck has a cockpit wet bar, a lazarette that could be specified as a single-berth crew cabin, and a saloon with an opening roof. Below are a full-beam owner's stateroom with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower stall, a forward cabin with two single scissor berths and an en suite with day access, and a lower saloon that converts to extra berths or can be specified as a third cabin with two singles.

Power was twin shaft-drive diesels: Volvo Penta D11-670 or Caterpillar C12 (2 x 715 mhp) from launch, with Volvo D11-725 added later, for quoted speeds of 33-37 knots. Motor Boat & Yachting reports 34.9 knots on the Caterpillars and 36 knots on 725 hp D11s.
