Princess V55

In production 2019–present Designed by Bernard Olesinski (naval architecture)

The Princess V55 is a 58ft (17.81m) open sportscruiser launched at the 2019 Southampton Boat Show. It has three cabins, an optional crew cabin and a tender garage. It comes with a single engine choice: twin 1,000hp Volvo Penta D13s on shafts.

The V55 was launched at the 2019 Southampton Boat Show as a new V Class sportscruiser, and the yard's 2025 pages still list it. Bernard MBY credits the hull shape to Olesinski's input. The main deck is one open level. It has an L-shaped cockpit seating area around a folding teak table, a wet bar with an electric barbecue, an aft sunpad over a tender garage with an electro-hydraulic door, and seating and sunbathing on the foredeck.

Below deck there are three cabins. The full-beam master stateroom has an en-suite. The forward VIP has a double that splits into scissor berths, and its en-suite doubles as the day head. The third is a starboard twin. An optional aft cabin for one crew member or guest has its own WC.

Princess offers one engine package: twin Volvo Penta D13-1000s on straight shafts. MBY pointed out that the rival Sunseeker offered several engine and IPS options, while Princess stayed with shafts and a single choice. The yard's figures have changed during production. The 2019 specification gave 2,200 litres of fuel, about 27,500 kg displacement and 35-37 knots. The current page gives 2,500 litres, 28,589 kg and 33-35 knots.
