Princess 56

The first Princess 56 was built from 1995 to 2002. According to the dealer's heritage records it measured 17.15 m overall (16.95 m without the pulpit) with a 4.62 m beam, 1.13 m draft and about 18.5 tonnes displacement.

The second Princess 56 arrived in 2012 as a new design replacing the Princess 54. Compared with the 54 it has a raised galley, more cabin space below and a much larger flybridge. The yard offered twin Caterpillar C12 A (2 x 715 mhp, 28-29 knots) or twin Volvo Penta D13-800 (2 x 800 mhp, 31-33 knots), both on shafts. Displacement is about 26.8 tonnes with full fuel and water.

There are three guest cabins: a full-beam owner's stateroom with an en-suite, a forward double with an en-suite that also opens to the passageway, and a starboard cabin with two singles. An optional aft crew cabin has a single berth and its own toilet compartment. The flybridge has a wet bar, electric barbecue and a convertible sunbed. The 56 was named Best Imported Large Yacht at the Boat of the Year Japan awards, and production ran until 2017.
