Princess Flybridge

Princess F45

In production 2019–present Designed by Olesinski Design (exterior styling); Princess in-house (interior, naval architecture)

The F45 is the smallest model in Princess's F Class flybridge range, launched in 2019 as a two-cabin yacht for owner-driver couples and small families. It runs on Volvo Penta IPS pod drives with joystick control. Its notable feature is an electrically sliding transom seat that lengthens the cockpit.

Princess unveiled the F45 in 2019 as the entry point to its flybridge range. Early boats had twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 pods (2 x 440 mhp) and a 1,300-litre fuel tank. The yard's later specification lists IPS 650 pods (D6-480, 2 x 480 mhp), 1,640 litres of fuel and a heavier displacement of about 18.7 tonnes at half load. The yard quotes 29-31 knots for both packages.

Below deck there are two cabins: a full-beam owner's cabin with an en-suite and a forward guest cabin with a double or optional scissor berths. The forward cabin's en-suite also opens to the passageway as a day head. The flybridge has a teak dining table, an L-shaped seat that converts to a sunpad, and a wet bar. On the main deck, an electrically sliding transom seat extends the cockpit.

Motor Boat & Yachting's test of a stock boat asked whether it could be Princess's best flybridge yet. Reviewers praised finish that matches the yard's larger models.
