Princess S65

The S65 name has been used twice. The first S65 was built from 2015 to 2019. It was a sportbridge yacht of 20.32m overall with a 5.08m beam and twin MAN V12-1400s, for which Princess quoted 36-38 knots. It had an owner's stateroom, forward, starboard and port guest cabins, and an optional crew cabin. The current S65 debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2024. It was developed by the Princess Design Studio with Olesinski and Pininfarina. It is slightly longer at 20.61m, and the beam is 5.09m.

The main deck runs from the cockpit wet bar through to the galley. It has large hull windows, sliding doors aft and an electrically sliding roof. The sportbridge has modular seating with a moveable backrest that turns part of it into a forward sunbed. There is also a foredeck seating area, an aft sunpad, a hydraulic bathing platform and a garage for a 3.3m tender. Below deck, four cabins sleep eight: a full-beam owner's stateroom, a forward VIP, a starboard twin and a bunk cabin. The owner's and VIP cabins have en-suites, and a day head serves the other two. An optional crew cabin has its own en-suite.

The standard engines are twin MAN V12-1400s, for which the yard quotes 34-36 knots. Motor Boat & Yachting's 2024 test boat topped out at almost 35 knots. MBY noted that twin MAN V8-1200s save around 800kg but cost a couple of knots at the top end. Power & Motoryacht recorded 36 knots on the V12s. Fuel capacity is 4,100 litres, or 4,400 litres with the optional extended-range tank. MBY quotes RCD category B for 18 people.
