KMH61V

Kanzaki-built 12-degree hydraulic V-drive rated at up to 1,070 Nm, the V-drive gear for Yanmar's 6LY3 and (as KMH61V2) 6LY400/440 engines.

The KMH61V is a heavy-duty V-drive gear with a 12-degree output angle, forced lubrication and electrical shift. Yanmar's operation manual gives 1,070 Nm input torque for the KMH61V and 937 Nm for the KMH61V-2, a maximum input speed of 3,300 rpm, 7.5 L of oil, an SAE #3 bell housing and a dry weight of 84 kg without heat exchanger, damper or feet. Kanzaki and Yanmar's 2020 gear table give ratios of 1.24, 1.49, 1.98 and 2.43:1 for the KMH61V.

Yanmar lists the KMH61V for the 6LY3-UTP, -STP, -ETP, -UTC and -STC and the KMH61V2 for the 6LY400 and 6LY440.
