Early Kanzaki reverse gear, reported as developed with Hurth, for Yanmar's 1970s-80s 2QM20H and 3QM30H sailboat engines.
The KBW10 appears in Yanmar's parts catalogue in two versions, KBW10-D and KBW10-E. A Kanzaki service-manual index describes it as developed jointly by Kanzaki and Hurth for the Yanmar 2QM20H and 3QM30H engines. Yanmar launched the vertical water-cooled 2QM20 (22 hp) and 3QM30 (33 hp) for pleasure boats in 1976.
