KMH4A
Kanzaki-built 8-degree down-angle hydraulic marine gear with 2.04 or 2.45:1 ratios, Yanmar's option for the turbocharged 4JH engines including the 4JH3-DTE, 4JH4-TE/HTE and 4JH80/110.
The KMH4A is a hydraulically shifted marine gear with an 8-degree down-angle output, ratios of 2.04 and 2.45:1 identical ahead and astern, either propeller rotation, and a dry weight of 31 kg per Yanmar's 2020 gear table. It offers a trolling function and has its own seawater-cooled oil cooler on the current JH engines.
Yanmar lists it for the 4JH4-TE, 4JH4-HTE, 4JH3-DTE, 4JH80 and 4JH110; a KMH4A1 drawing exists for the 4JH3-T/4JH3-DTE. Kanzaki's 1998 service manual already covers the KMH4A. It is a current option.
