KM2P-1
Small Kanzaki-built parallel-shaft reverse gear with a mechanical cone clutch, sold by Yanmar behind the 1GM10 and YM-series engines, and in its earlier KM2P form behind the 2GM20F and 3GM30F.
The KM2P-1 is a compact in-line (parallel output) marine gear with a mechanical servo cone clutch, made by Kanzaki Kokyukoki. Kanzaki rates it at 66 Nm input (at 3,800 rpm) with forward ratios of 2.21, 2.62 and 3.22:1 and a 3.06:1 reverse, a dry weight of 9.8 kg, 0.3 L of oil and an SAE #6 flange. Yanmar lists it for the 1GM10, 2YM15, 3YM20 and 3YM30AE, and it remains current.
The earlier KM2P, without the -1 suffix, is listed in Yanmar's GM operation manual as the gear for the 2GM20(F) and 3GM30(F) with 2.21 and 2.62:1 forward and 3.06:1 reverse. Yanmar keeps separate parts catalogues for the KM2P and KM2P-1.
