KMH50A

Kanzaki-built 8-degree down-angle hydraulic gear with 1.67, 2.13 or 2.43:1 ratios, Yanmar's main shaft gear for the 4LHA, 6LPA-STP2, 4LV and 8LV engines.

The KMH50A is a hydraulically shifted marine gear with an 8-degree down-angle output and forced lubrication. Yanmar's operation manual gives a maximum input torque of 684 Nm, maximum input speed of 4,225 rpm, ratios of 1.67, 2.13 and 2.43:1 (same ahead and astern), 2.0 L of oil, a Borg-Warner or SAE #4 bell housing and a dry weight of 41 kg without oil cooler, damper or feet. Mechanical or electric shift and optional mechanical or C-type trolling are available.

Yanmar lists it for the 4LHA-STP, -HTP and -DTP, the 6LPA-STP2, the 4LV150 to 4LV250 and the 8LV320 to 8LV370. The KMH50A-3 is the version for the 4LV with mechanical shift. It is a current product.
