KMH60A

Kanzaki-built 8-degree down-angle hydraulic gear rated at 960 Nm with 1.55, 2.04 or 2.43:1 ratios, the shaft gear for Yanmar's 6LY2A engines.

The KMH60A is a heavy-duty down-angle (8 degree) hydraulic marine gear with mechanical or electrical shift and forced lubrication. Yanmar's operation manual gives a maximum input torque of 960 Nm, maximum input speed of 3,745 rpm, ratios of 1.55, 2.04 and 2.43:1, 2.8 L of oil, an SAE #3 bell housing and a dry mass of 58 kg without oil cooler, damper or feet.

Yanmar publishes a 6LY2A-STP/UTP x KMH60A installation drawing. It was followed on the 6LY3 and later 6LY engines by the 1070 Nm KMH61A.
