Mercury's current 225 hp V8 petrol outboard: the 4.6-litre DOHC sold as Pro XS 225 and SeaPro 225. It is not the 3.4-litre V6 FourStroke 225.
The V8-225 is the 225 hp rating of the 4.6-litre V8. Pro XS 225 is the tournament calibration (WOT 5600–6200). SeaPro 225 is the commercial tune (WOT 4800–5600). Both are 225 / 168 kW. Weight is omitted: Pro XS 232 kg vs SeaPro 239 kg.
FourStroke 225 is the 3.4 L V6 already loaded as V6-225.
