V6-175

In production 2018–present

The 175 hp rating of Mercury's naturally aspirated 3.4-litre 64-degree DOHC V6, sold as FourStroke and as Pro XS 175.

The V6-175 is the entry rating of the 3.4-litre 64-degree DOHC 24-valve V6. It is the only horsepower in this family where FourStroke and Pro XS share the V6 block: Pro XS 200 and 225 were launched on the 4.6 L V8. FourStroke 175 is WOT 5000–5800, 1.85:1, 475 lb / 215 kg lightest dry. Pro XS 175 is WOT 5400–6000 and the same 475 lb.

Unveiled 15 February 2018 at Miami with the 200 and 225. It replaced the previous FourStroke 175 and sits well above the old 1.7 L supercharged Verado 175, which was already out of production. There is no current Verado or SeaPro 175 on this block.
