150 FourStroke
The Mercury 150 FourStroke is a naturally aspirated 3.0-litre inline-four petrol outboard, current since late 2011, rated 150 hp / 110 kW with a published dry weight of 206 kg for the lightest 20-inch model.
This row is the current 3.0 L naturally aspirated FourStroke, not the older 1.7 L supercharged Verado 150. Mercury launched the 3.0 L at the Fort Lauderdale boat show in October 2011; production started late that year. It remains in the 2026 FourStroke 75–150 hp family.
The powerhead is an 8-valve single-overhead-cam inline four of 3.0 L / 183 cid, bore and stroke 102 × 92 mm, with multi-port EFI. Full-throttle range on the standard FourStroke is 5000–5800 rpm. Factory tables state 150 hp / 110 kW. The gearcase is the 4.9-inch unit at 1.92:1. Shafts are 20 and 25 inches.
Dry weight of the lightest model is 455 lb / 206 kg — the 20-inch shaft. The Verado L4 150 is 510 lb / 231 kg on Mercury's own Verado table; do not put 231 kg on this row.
The Pro XS 150 is the same 3.0 L block with a higher WOT band (5200–6000) and a 2.08:1 performance gearcase. Horsepower is still 150, so it is folded here as a variant.
