115 FourStroke
The Mercury 115 FourStroke is a naturally aspirated 2.1-litre inline-four petrol outboard, current since 2014, with a published dry weight of 163 kg for the lightest 20-inch model.
This is the current 2.1 L FourStroke 115, not the old two-stroke 115 and not the pre-2014 1.7 L FourStroke it replaced. Mercury announced the 75 / 90 / 115 platform in mid-2014 as a 2.1 L, four-cylinder, eight-valve SOHC family. Displacement is 2.1 L / 128 cid, bore and stroke 90 × 81 mm. It is still in the 2026 FourStroke 75–150 hp range.
Full-throttle range on the standard FourStroke is 5000–6000 rpm. The standard gearcase is 2.07:1; dry weight of the lightest model is 359 lb / 163 kg. An optional Command Thrust gearcase (2.38:1) is published at 363 lb / 165 kg. Shafts are 20 and 25 inches.
Horsepower is 115. Mercury's EMEA/AU tables print 115 / 84.6 kW; US dealer inventory prints 115 HP (86 kW). Those are two conversions of the same rating, so power_kw is omitted.
The Pro XS 115 is the same 2.1 L / 115 hp block with a higher WOT band of 5300–6300 rpm and is folded as a variant.
