The D6-480 is the top rating of Volvo Penta's D6 family, a 5.5-litre in-line six-cylinder common-rail turbodiesel offered as an Aquamatic sterndrive or inboard package. It tops the single-engine options in the Targa 27.2, 30.1 and 32 and the twin sterndrive options in the Targa 41 and 46.
