Flipper 900 ST
The Flipper 900 ST is a 9.02-metre glassfibre sport-top cruiser with an electrically opening roof, two cabins and six berths, rated for ten persons under CE design category C. It is powered by twin Mercury outboards. Introduced for the 2019 model year, it is a development of the Flipper 880 ST of 2013.
The 900 ST measures 9.02 m by 3.15 m, with a draught of 0.70 m and a dry weight of 3,000 kg without engines. It carries 380 litres of fuel and 100 litres of fresh water. Beam, weight and tank capacities match the 8.52-metre 880 ST, from which it was developed; Totalvene describes the principal changes as swim platform extensions about half a metre longer and an electrically operated table and roof in place of the manual ones. Despite the shared numeral, Yachting News reported that the 900 ST and 900 DC use different hulls.
The deck saloon has a rounded windowed superstructure, open to the aft cockpit, with a three-part windscreen and a large section of roof that folds back over most of the cockpit. The cockpit has a wet bar with sink and Wallas diesel stove, an electrically height-adjustable table that converts to a sunbed, and teak on deck and gunwales. Below deck are a forward cabin with a door, a second double cabin beneath the cockpit, and a toilet compartment with shower; the builder lists berths as 4 + 2.
The current configurator lists twin Mercury F225 V6 DTS or twin Mercury V250 V8 DTS outboards. The 2019 price list offered twin engines from Mercury 150 hp to V300 V8, a range of 300–600 hp. Yachting News tested the boat with twin 200 hp Mercury outboards and recorded 38 knots, with fuel use under 50 litres per hour at 20 knots.
The 880 ST, launched in 2013, was designed by the Norwegian Espen Thorup as part of his work for Bella-Veneet's brands, and the 900 ST continued it from the 2019 season. Totalvene's used-boat review dates the 880/900 ST series 2013–2025 and reports that when Nimbus sold the Flipper brand and the tooling for the smaller models to Cremo, it kept the 900 ST moulds, with a reported plan to update the design under its Aquador brand.
The 900 ST is the only Sport Top model still listed on flipperboats.fi, but it does not appear in the 2026 model brochure or the 2027 facelift announcement.
