Flipper 650 DC

The 650 DC is built on Flipper's Speedhull, a variable-deadrise V hull that the builder describes as a vacuum-infused double-frame structure intended to stiffen the hull and reduce noise. It measures 6.74 m in length and 2.46 m in beam, with a draught of 0.70 m and a dry weight of 1,050 kg without engine. The fixed fuel tank holds 145 litres; a 48-litre fresh water system is optional.

The layout places a two-berth cabin under the foredeck, with ventilation and a wash basin, and an open cockpit with U-shaped seating around a table and an aft sun deck that can be used for sleeping. The builder lists the berths as 2 + 2. A marine toilet with septic tank, gas cooker, drawer refrigerator, heater and a Sun-Top roof are listed as options.

The boat is designed for a single outboard. The 2026 range offers a Mercury F150 EFI and a Mercury F200 V6 DTS; the 2019 price list also included a Mercury F115 and an F175 V6, giving a 115–200 hp range at that time. Flipper's own test report with the F150 EFI records 39.3 knots at 5,750 rpm, with 22.6 knots at 3,500 rpm using 18.9 litres per hour. A Venemestari comparison test from 2019 placed it fourth and noted its quiet running and precise handling.

The design was sold as the Flipper 640 DC before being renamed 650 DC for the 2019 season. A Nettivene test associated the renaming with the introduction of the Bella 640 DC by the same parent company that year. Flipper was built by Bella-Veneet in Finland; production has since moved to Cremo Boats' plant in Poland, and a facelift of the 650 DC with revised styling and updates to current CE requirements was announced in September 2026 for the 2027 model year.

In the 2026 model range the 650 DC sits below the 700 DC and 800 DC, and is the entry point to Flipper's day cruiser line.
