Nimbus 3400 Europe
The taxonomy's '3400 Europe' is the Nimbus 3400 Europa, a GRP twin shaft-drive aft-cabin motor yacht of about 10.0 m from the late 1980s, the largest of the classic Nimbus cruisers. It has a 3.45 m beam, a 1.0 m draft, a 600-litre fuel tank, 250 litres of water and three cabins sleeping six. Power is twin Volvo Penta TAMD41 diesels for 400 hp combined.
The 3400 Europa (the taxonomy string '3400 Europe' is a truncation) is a late-1980s flagship on a GRP deep-V semi-displacement hull with twin Volvo Penta TAMD41 diesels on straight shafts, roughly 200 hp each for a combined 400, giving about 30 knots. The shaft installation makes the 1.0 m draft a fixed full-draft figure.
Sources differ on secondary figures: LOA from 10.00 m (hull) to 10.36 (with platform), water 250-350 litres and heads count one to two, so those are reported conservatively or omitted. The quoted 6-tonne figure is loaded displacement not dry weight and is omitted. Being pre-1998 the boat carries no factory CE category.
