Nimbus 280 Coupe

In production 1997–2005 Designed by Rolf Eliasson

The Nimbus 280 Coupe is a GRP sterndrive sedan cruiser of about 8.6 m, built roughly 1997 to 2005 to a Rolf Eliasson design, CE category B. It has a 2.85 m beam, a 250-litre fuel tank, 180 litres of water and two cabins with a heads. Power was typically a single Volvo Penta diesel sterndrive.

The 280 Coupe is a compact sedan cruiser of the late 1990s, distinct from its sister the 280 Familia. A common installation was a single Volvo Penta TAMD31P of about 150 hp on a sterndrive.

Sources conflict on length (8.60 vs 8.53), dry weight (about 3000 vs 2500 kg) and berths (three to five), so weight and berths are omitted and the fuller length used. Draft and max_hp are omitted for want of a reliable basis and rating.
