Fairline Carrera 24

In production Unknown

The Carrera 24 is a British sports cruiser from Fairline's 1980s Carrera line, a compact deep-V family cruiser with four berths in two cabins, aimed at coastal weekending rather than offshore passages.

Designed by naval architect Bernard Olesinski, the Carrera 24 shares the deep-V planing hull that defined Fairline's boats through the 1980s, giving it a firmer, more seakindly ride than flatter-hulled rivals of the period. Accommodation is arranged as four berths across two cabins, sized for a family weekending rather than long-range cruising. Engine choices varied through its production run, from twin Volvo Penta AQ151C petrol inboards to a single diesel on sterndrive with bow thruster, so surviving examples differ significantly in performance and running costs. It represents Fairline's entry-level sports cruiser of the era, below the Corniche and the early Targas in size.
