Fairline 38 Phantom
The 38 Phantom is a British flybridge motor cruiser, an early model in Fairline's Phantom range, built through the late 1990s before being succeeded by the Phantom 40 in 2002.
The 38 Phantom pairs a flybridge with Fairline's signature deep-V planing hull, drawn by naval architect Bernard Olesinski for stable handling at speed. Standard power was a pair of Volvo Penta TAMD63P diesels, giving a top speed of around 32 knots. Below deck the cabin is trimmed in polished American cherry joinery with fabric upholstery, in keeping with Fairline's cruiser-yacht interiors of the period. It sat in the range below the larger Phantom 46 and 50, and was replaced in 2002 when Fairline introduced the Phantom 40.
