Fairline Targa 38

In production Unknown

The Targa 38 is a British sports cruiser, launched by Fairline in 2006 and produced for close to a decade, later joined by GT and Open variants and a European Powerboat of the Year award.

The Targa 38 was unveiled at a Fairline dealer conference in Bellagio in April 2006 and stayed in the range for roughly ten years, winning the European Powerboat of the Year award in the 30ft to 40ft category in 2007. Fairline later expanded it into a small family of variants: a Targa 38 GT with the retractable Gran Turismo roof, and, from 2013, a Targa 38 Open with a convertible open-top layout, the first of which reached the production line in 2014. Across its run the 38 was pitched as a boat that could feel larger than its length suggested, combining Targa handling with cockpit space for dinghy storage and two proper cabins - small enough for a couple to manage, big enough to cruise comfortably.
