Fairline Targa 40
The Targa 40 is a British sports cruiser, relaunched by Fairline in 2024 as the entry point to the current Targa range, sized below the Targa 45 with two cabins and one heads.
The current Targa 40 debuted at the 2024 Dusseldorf boat show as a ground-up reinvention of Fairline's compact sportscruiser, positioned as the entry to the Targa line below the 45. It is built with two cabins and a single heads rather than three, a deliberate choice by Fairline to avoid overlapping the larger model: a forward owner's cabin, a mid-cabin with convertible twin or double beds, and an open-plan central lounge, with an optional third double available from a convertible dinette. Standard power is twin Volvo Penta D6-380 diesel sterndrives. Reviewers noted its generous beam for a 40-footer, hidden inflatable-tender stowage, and flexible aft cockpit seating as strengths of the redesign.
