Sargo 31

The hull was launched in 2007 as the Minor Offshore 31. On 9 June 2014 the yard retired the Minor name in favour of a new brand, Sargo; its own history page states plainly that 'Sarins Båtar launches the new brand SARGO 9.6.2014. Minor Offshore 25-36 changes brand to SARGO' — a brand change applied to the existing range, not a new model. A 'New SARGO 31' was then shown at the January 2015 Düsseldorf boat show, but that was a facelift of the same boat: boot Düsseldorf's show news was headlined 'The classic Sargo 31 undergoes a refined facelift' and said it was precisely as quick, gracious and comfortable as its predecessor, while Motor Boat & Yachting reported it as a new-look version whose main external change was replacing the single skylight with three smaller side-by-side ones, alongside a redesigned adjustable wheel and gauge panel and an XL sliding hatch. An Aft Door version followed in June 2018.

The boat has a single-level non-skid walkaround deck with sliding doors on both sides of the wheelhouse and a swim platform with an inspection hatch. Accommodation is two cabins: a forward cabin with a V-berth of two 70 x 200 cm berths and a middle cabin with a 140 x 200 cm double, giving four berths, plus one toilet compartment with a large electric head and stainless sink. The wheelhouse carries a large U-sofa, a turnable passenger bench, a height-adjustable table and an adjustable console with an offshore helm chair. Maximum capacity is 12, and the hull is hand-laminated fibreglass.

The Sargo 31 and 31 Explorer share the same 9.96 m hull and use Volvo Penta diesel sterndrives with hydraulic drive and electric steering. The UK importer's specification lists single D6-340, D6-380, D6-400 and D6-440 installations or twin D4-320, while Sargo's own site quotes a single-engine recommendation of 330–480 hp and a twin recommendation of 2 x 225–300 hp; fuel capacity is 500 litres with a single engine and 620 with twins, against 120 litres of water. The Sargo 31 Outboard is the yard's first model offered with Yamaha power, using twin F250, F300 or F350 outboards, and differs in carrying a 900-litre fuel tank, a shallower 0.8 m draft and a longer 10.35 m LOA.

The yard quotes 32–42 knots. Practical Boat Owner tested the boat in 2024 and called it a superb fast cruiser capable of covering big distances in effortless comfort, best suited to owners who prioritise covering serious distances at speed over spacious accommodation. Motor Boat & Yachting's 2015 video test of a single 400 hp example, which comfortably topped 30 knots, concluded it was an undeniably capable machine despite unconventional styling.
