Nord West 430 Flybridge

The 430 Flybridge was Nord West's replacement for the 420 Flybridge, whose two Motor Boat of the Year awards the yard credited as its inspiration. It uses the hull of the 430 SportsTop, which PowerYacht described as a tweaked version of the 420's underwater shape. Its dimensions, tankage and weight are the same as the 420's. It was the first model Nord West developed after taking over the Najad sailing-yacht brand, and the yard said Najad's input had improved the interior. It was shown at the Gothenburg boat show on 2-10 February 2013. On 26 February Nord West went into administration, and in July 2013 Gillholms Marina bought the Nord West and Najad brands without committing to restart production. The designer's own page gives 2013 as the only production year.

The design is credited to Benny Martinsson with the yard's development team. The layout keeps three double cabins: an en-suite master cabin in the bow and two similar guest cabins amidships sharing a second bathroom. The yard said the cabins had more natural light than the 420's. The flybridge has three forward-facing helm seats, a wet bar and a dining area aft with a folding table. The yard also highlighted reduced noise and vibration.

Engines were twin Volvo Penta D6 diesels of 370 to 435hp, on DPH sterndrives or IPS pods. IPS boats could have joystick control and Volvo's DPS dynamic positioning. A used 2013 boat for sale in Sweden has twin IPS 600 with three joysticks. No independent test of the 430 Flybridge was found.
