Delta 290 SW
The Delta 290 SW is the current wheelhouse-walkaround cruiser that Delta relaunched in 2016 as a development of the 29 SW, on the same 9.55 m GRP hull. It has a 2.70 m beam, a 1.10 m draft, a 2900 kg dry weight and a single cabin sleeping two with an enclosed heads. It is CE category B, on a single Volvo Penta sterndrive up to a V8-380.
The 290 SW is the current form of Delta's smallest wheelhouse-walkaround cruiser, relaunched in 2016 as a development of the earlier 29 SW and built on the same single-stepped, air-supported GRP deep-V hull, not carbon.
The main change from the 29 SW is the engine lineup: where the older boat was offered with twin Volvo Penta diesels up to a combined 600 hp, the 290 SW is a single-engine boat, with a Volvo Penta V8-380 sterndrive as its maximum, or D4-320 and D6-380 diesel options, all on Duoprop drives. Draft is a single published 1.10 m of unstated basis. Accommodation is a forward cabin with two berths, an optional extra bunk or two, and an enclosed head.
