Saxdor 205

Saxdor presented the 205 in 2022, and it sells as a 2023 model. The yard describes it as the revamped version of the SX200 and keeps the 200 on sale beside it. The 205 uses the same vacuum-infused, sharp-entry twin-stepped GRP hull with a 21-degree V as the award-winning 200. The changes are in the deck: a traditional single-level cockpit, a folding windshield with openable sides, optional transom gates, and a larger console.

The main difference from the 200 is the compartment under the console. In the 2023 price list it can take an electric toilet (EUR 1,990) with a door window and skylight, which the yard promotes as rare on a 20-footer. Seating layouts include a jockey seat, two seats with a sofa, four seats plus two extra, and a sofa with a sunbed option. The boat is certified for up to seven persons on board and CE category C for six. The yard lists two berths, but YachtBuyer treats it as a day boat without berths.

The 2023 and 2025 price lists give a Mercury 115 Pro XS as standard, and the 2023 list adds a Mercury 150 Pro XS option. The model-year-2023 owner's manual rates the boat for a maximum of 175 hp and lists a 110-litre fuel tank, against the 150 hp and 100 litres on the yard's web page. The yard quotes a cruising range of 32-45 knots. In YachtBuyer's Aquaholic test, filmed at the Southampton Boat Show 2022, the 205 reached almost 40 knots with the 115 Pro XS.
