Saxdor 400 GTC

The 400 GTC is the enclosed-wheelhouse version of the 400 series, which began with the open 400 GTO in 2023. Motor Boat & Yachting reports its debut at boot Düsseldorf; the series later added the 400 GTS.

It shares the 400 GTO's vacuum-infused, twin-stepped GRP hull with a 21-degree deadrise. The glass wheelhouse can be closed against the weather or opened towards the cockpit, and side terraces fold down to widen the deck to 5.0 m at anchor. Below, there is a forward cabin with a V-berth and a heads compartment, and an optional aft cabin reached through the base of the dinette. The owner's manual gives a light-craft mass of 7,709 kg, a 1,000-litre fuel tank and a draft of 0.96 m to the engine skeg, and certifies the boat in CE category B for twelve people.

It is built for twin outboards; the base price is quoted with twin 350 hp Mercury V10s, and the 2026 price list adds twin 425 hp V10s, raising the yard's maximum from the manual's 800 hp to 850 hp. MBY tested it with twin 400 hp V10s in 2024 and recorded a two-way average of 43 knots, with consumption of 5-5.5 litres per nautical mile between 20 and 30 knots. MBY described it as a halfway house between a Med-style sportscruiser and an enclosed adventure boat. Its criticism was that 28 identical switches in two long rows were hard to tell apart in rough water.

The 400 GTC won at the Best of Boats Awards 2024 and at the Yacht Style Awards 2025, and was Highly Commended at the Motor Boat Awards 2025. With the 400 GTO, it was named Motorboat of the Show at the Helsinki boat show in 2024.
