Saxdor 270 GTO

Saxdor announced the 270 GTO in September 2022 and showed it at that month's Southampton International Boat Show, as the first model of a new range under 30 feet; it was also exhibited at boot Düsseldorf in January 2023. The owner's manual covers two versions, the 270 GTO with a T-top and the 270 GTR with an open cockpit.

The hull is Saxdor's vacuum-infused GRP design with two steps and a 21-degree deadrise, and a glass transom panel. The owner's manual gives a hull length of 8.45 m including the bathing platform, a beam of 2.60 m, a light-craft mass of 2,069 kg and a draft of 0.89 m to the engine skeg. Around a central helm, the cockpit has two facing sofas for up to six that convert into a dinette or aft sunbed, a wet bar, and a second sunbed on the foredeck. Below is a forward cabin with a two-person berth and a separate toilet compartment with a basin. It is certified for seven people in CE category C.

At launch the yard quoted a single outboard of 225-350 hp. Motor Boat & Yachting's 2023 test listed single 225-350 hp or twin 200 hp Mercury outboards, and recorded 36.6 knots with a 225 hp Mercury V6 and 41.4 knots with a 300 hp V8. The current yard page lists Mercury V6 and V8 options up to 400 hp in total, with a single 250 hp V8 in the base price, while the model-year-2023 owner's manual rates the boat for 300 hp.

The 270 GTO was a finalist at the Best of Boats Awards 2023 and won at the Motor Boat Awards 2024.
