Axopar Brabus Shadow 800

This is a BRABUS Marine boat rather than an Axopar-badged one, though it sits under Axopar in the marketplace taxonomy. It came out of the alliance the two companies announced in September 2017, in which Axopar supplies the hull and boatbuilding while BRABUS adds performance calibration, carbon-fibre parts, leather and its dark-on-dark styling; hulls are laminated in Axopar's plants and finished by BRABUS. Note that the taxonomy also carries a separate Brabus Marine make, which is where other Shadow models sit.

The platform is the first-generation Axopar 37 Sun-Top, at 11.20 m and 3.3 m beam with 730 litres of fuel - not the 11.50 m second-generation 37, whose figures should not be read onto this row. BRABUS certified the hull to 800 hp where Axopar rated its own to 700; twin Mercury Racing 400R Verado was the only engine offered, making 800 both the standard and the maximum.

It was built in one body style, the Sun-Top with a painted hardtop and sliding canvas roof, so it is not an enclosed pilothouse; what varied was the aft-deck module. The end year is inferred rather than stated - production was capped at twenty units, listings are model years 2018 and 2019, the Shadow 900 arrived on the same hull in January 2020, and BRABUS Marine had moved the 800 to its previous-models page by January 2022.
