Let an assistant set the company up
If you are setting YachtMaster up for a customer — or for yourself, through an assistant — the assistant can propose the company without anyone logging in first.
The connector
Add this address in your assistant as a custom connector:
https://app.yachtmaster.cloud/api/signup/mcp
No account, no key, no login. It is open on purpose, and what makes that safe is the next section.
This is a different connector from the one an existing company's staff use. For that, see connect your own assistant.
Nothing is created until a person says so
The assistant proposes. It does not create. When it submits a signup, YachtMaster writes the proposal to a holding area and emails the person named as administrator a link. Until that person opens the link there is no company, no user, no subscription and no data — only a proposal, which expires on its own.
That person then sees exactly what the assistant entered, accepts the terms themselves, sets their own password, and decides separately whether the assistant keeps any access afterwards. The assistant cannot accept terms on anyone's behalf, and it cannot grant itself access.
If the person does nothing, nothing happens.
What the assistant gets, and when
Three tools: list the plans a company can start on, start a signup, and check its status.
If — and only if — the administrator chose to grant access, the assistant receives its API key on its first status check after activation, once. Not before activation, and not if access was declined.
Plans and the trial
The assistant reads the plans live, so it quotes what is actually for sale rather than whatever this page said when it was written. See pricing.
The trial runs 45 days from activation. No card, no payment, and not invoiced if the company stops.
