Fairline Targa 43
The Targa 43 is a British sports cruiser, the Mk2 flagship of Fairline's Targa range built between 1997 and 2005, with around 300 produced and shaft drive rather than sterndrive or pods.
This Targa 43 was Fairline's flagship sportsboat in the Targa line through the late 1990s and early 2000s, built on shaft drive rather than the sterndrive or pod arrangements used on smaller and later Targas. It sleeps four across two cabins, a master with ensuite and a twin cabin sharing a bathroom. Fairline offered four engine options over its run, from a 370hp Volvo Penta TAMD63P up to a 473hp TAMD75P EDC good for 37 knots, alongside a Caterpillar 3126 option. Around 300 were built before it was discontinued, and it won awards for its exterior design during production. A later, unrelated Targa 43 Open with IPS pod drives was introduced in 2018, so used listings should be checked carefully for generation.
