Delta 29 SW
The Delta 29 SW (Sidewalk) is a 9.55 m GRP sterndrive walkaround cruiser designed by Lars Modin, built from 2007 until about 2016 and now discontinued. It has a 2.70 m beam, a 2900 kg weight, a 300-litre fuel tank and a single cabin with two berths and a heads. It is CE category B and reaches around 40 knots on twin Volvo Penta diesels. It was succeeded by the Delta 290 SW.
The 29 SW - part of Delta's SW wheelhouse-walkaround line, not a Sport Weekender - was one of Delta's core small cruisers, a vacuum-infused vinylester GRP boat on a single-stepped deep-V hull, not carbon. Power is Volvo Penta sterndrive, offered as a single D6-370 or twin D4-260 or D4-300, the twin 300s giving the 600 hp combined maximum loaded here.
Sources place the launch in autumn 2007 (a batliv launch article) against an aggregator's '2013-2016', and give two spec generations - roughly 9.25 m and 2500 kg at launch versus the mature 9.55 m and 2900 kg. The later production figures are used, per the rule against averaging generations. Draft is a single published 1.0 m of unstated basis.
The boat was replaced around 2016 by the Delta 290 SW, a further development of the same concept.
