Axopar 28

Launched at the Helsinki International Boat Show in February 2014, the 28 established Axopar's whole approach: a twin-stepped deep-V hull offered in several deck configurations on one set of tooling, powered by a single outboard. This row covers the Open and T-Top, which share everything but the top; the Open weighs 1770 kg excluding engine and the T-Top 1840.

There is no standard cabin - an aft cabin adding two berths became an option from 2018 - so berths and cabins are omitted here rather than describing an optional fit as standard. Maximum power is 400 hp as a single, and twin 200 hp installations also reach 400 total.

Two figures are worth flagging. Length is Axopar's basis including bathing platforms; the marketing headline of 8.75 m excludes them and is not comparable with the 29's 9.31 m. Fuel is quoted three ways across Axopar's own documents - 260 litres in the current manual, 280 on the website and 300 in the MY2018-20 manual's tank table - and the manual figure is used. Axopar has never called the 28 discontinued, framing the 29 as 'more than a successor'.
